COLT 1911 CLASSIC 45 ACP 5" RAYMOND J WIELGUS

One of 500 limited edition Colt 1911 Classics honoring the engraving style of Raymond J. Wielgus (1920-2010). His work was influenced by popular engravings on western firearms and his passion for the ethnographic art of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas. The understated clean lines and delicate polishing changes enhance this beautiful work of art. TALO originally came upon the work of Wielgus at the Cody Firearms Museum in Cody, WY and the collection immediately stood out as something we wanted to honor. As a part of that discovery, TALO is donating a portion of the sales of these to the Cody Firearms Museum to help them continue to tell the history of firearms as well as continue their ability to purchase and maintain so many amazing pieces of history.
