Along with the obvious durability of steel you also have the excellent recoil management associated with a slightly heavier frame when compared to the alloy frame models.

The MC1911 Untouchable series seeks to deliver an amazing 1911 packed with modern features and to do it all at a price that every shooter can afford. Despite its affordable price, the Untouchable does not skimp on the details that are most commonly found on more expensive 1911 models. Ambidextrous thumb safety selectors allow for enhanced usability for right and left handed shooters. A Picatinny rail on the frame lets the user attach accessories such as weapon mounted lights or lasers. Serrations on the front and rear of the slide offers easier slide manipulations, and a flared magazine well gives you the ability to change magazines more quickly during competitions or stressful situations.
