Ruger is proud to introduce the Ruger American Rifle Generation I. Upgraded features include a durable, attractive Cerakote finish on the barreled action, a threaded bolt handle, stainless steel bolt body, and intuitive three-position tang safety that locks the bolt, which prevents inadvertent bolt opening yet allows the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged. The rigid stock features a removable comb riser to improve sight alignment when using optics, as well as a length of pull spacer, which can be removed or replaced to accommodate a variety of statures. Designed with customer feedback in mind, the Ruger American Rifle Generation II is sure to become the first choice for hunters and firearms enthusiasts. The standard generation II models feature a durable, Gun Metal Gray Cerakote barreled action and a dark gray stock that is textured with black and gray splatter for excellent grip and control in the field. The 20", medium-contour, cold hammer-forged barrel features deep spiral fluting on most models, improving the balance of the rifle without sacrificing rigidity or accuracy. The threaded muzzle features a factory installed radial muzzle brake.
