Ruger is excited to announce that it has expanded the Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite family of rimfire pistols with a new model that features a mounting position for a standard Shield RMS footprint reflex optic in place of the Picatinny rail. It also features a raised front fiber optic sight and an adjustable rear sight that co-witness with most micro red dot optics. The new model has an attractive ventilated rib on top of a clear anodized receiver.
The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite gives you a one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber-to-muzzle cleaning. Pressing a button in the back of the frame allows the barrel-receiver assembly to tilt up and off the grip frame without the use of tools. The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite OR features a mounting position for Shield RMS pattern optics to co-witness with the iron sights (optic not included); adjustable rear sight, fiber optic front sight; ventilated rib slide; precision-molded polymer grip frame with a serrated frontstrap and checkered backstrap; tensioned stainless steel, threaded barrel; a 1/2"-28 thread pattern for popular muzzle accessories, including the Ruger Silent-SR sound suppressor; ergonomic bolt stop; checkered, 1911-style grip panels; internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment; contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears; ambidextrous manual safety can be converted to left side only with included washer; push-button magazine release on the left side of the frame and magazine disconnect prevents discharge when the magazine has been removed. Includes two magazines and thread protector.
